DESCRIPTION:We want to offer bi-\, pan- and other non-monosexual women\, trans*\, inter*\, non-binary and agender persons the opportunity to talk with others\, to exchange ideas and to network. The meeting is an unmoderated meeting with no specific topics. The meetings usually take place every 3rd Friday of the month. \nA note about the current location (information acc. the homepage): \n\nThere is a mobile ramp that allows you to cross the threshold into the bar. There are no steps in the rooms themselves and the doors are wide.\nThe access to and cubicles in the toilet are too narrow to turn around in with an e-wheelchair. In one cubicle\, which is about 2sqm\, there are grab rails on the wall (left toilet\, left cubicle).\nThe nearest accessible public toilet is at Richardplatz and is about 450 metres away.\nThe toilets are all gender.\nThe right room has standing urinals.\nThe left room is for the exclusive use of FLINTA* persons.\n\nThe area we sit in is the non-smokers area\, but open to the smokers room. DESCRIPTION:We invite queer people and their partners to come together in a safe and confidential setting to discuss the challenges and opportunities of relationships that are perceived as heterosexual. Questioning and closeted individuals are also explicitly invited. \nAll-Queer-Edition: Für alle Queers in hetero-gelesenen Beziehungen und  ihre Partner*innen\nRelationships perceived as heterosexual are maintained by people from diverse queer backgrounds. At the Bi+ Relationships Meetup\, the majority of participants so far have been diverse Bi+ individuals and their heterosexual partners. However\, this topic—and the related issues and invisibilities—also affects other queer people\, such as trans*\, inter*\, and nonbinary people who are in mixed-gender relationships. And\, of course\, it also affects lesbian* and gay people who are in relationships with trans or nonbinary people. \nAt the gathering\, we want to create a space for all queer relationships that are perceived as heterosexual\, and we look forward to the discussion. \nA group of people from Berlin’s Bi+ community came together in autumn 2023 and have been organising the moderated Bi+ relationships meeting since December. According to a 2017 US study\, 88% of partnered bi+ people are in a relationship with someone of a different gender to themselves. A large proportion of these relationships are interpreted by mainstream society as hetero (normative) relationships – making the bisexuality of one or both people invisible once again. Even hetero partners in relationships with bi+ people rarely find places to talk about their experiences. \nThe main language of the evening is German\, contributions in English are very welcome. \nPlease register for the meeting by e-mail to bi-relationships@biberlin.de up to two days before the event. We will then send you a confirmation and the address. (Location within the S-Bahn ring and well connected by public transport). \nRegistration for the next date starts after the previous date and we will initially allocate half of the places to ‘early bookers’. The remaining places will be allocated from about two weeks before the date so that people can also come a little more spontaneously (e.g. those who do not know their work schedules/childcare so early). People who didn’t get a place last time will be given priority over those who were there last time. \nWe look forward to seeing you!

DESCRIPTION:Our Bi+Kaffeeklatsch always takes place on the 2nd Sunday of the month. Registration is not necessary\, just drop by. \nHere you can find out about current topics in the association and about Bi/Bi+ or simply relax and talk to each other about anything that interests you. \nNotes on the location: \n\nThe Hoven has barrier-free access and the entire location is step-free.\nThere are no toilets specifically designed for disabled people\, but with assistance they are accessible. The nearest public toilet is located approximately 650 metres away on Weichselstraße.\nThe entrances to the toilets are NOT gendered.\nThe menu is here\nPlease note: Das Hoven only accepts card payments! If this is a problem for you\, please speak to the hosts and we will find a solution.\n\nBuddy program:\nGoing to a new meetup can be difficult\, especially if you don’t know anyone there yet.
